Located in the bustling heart of King's Cross, Kings Place is a modern, purpose-built venue that can accommodate a wide array of events. The venue boasts two state-of-the-art auditoriums, Hall One and Hall Two. Both are perfect for hosting conferences with up to 400 delegates theatre style, with adjoining space for catering and networking. The halls are equipped with top-tier AV, comfortable seating and sound proofing to ensure every presentation is delivered seamlessly. An incredible fact we learned about the space is that all of the oak inside Hall One originates from one singular 500-year-old oak tree! The tree grew in a hunting forest and that one tree has produced an acre worth of wood, which has supplied Hall One’s panels, columns, backs of the seats, doors and desks. A pretty remarkable example of sustainable practice there.
In addition to the halls, the Battlebridge Room is a stunning riverside room, perfect for standing receptions for up to 350 and 220 seated. This canal-side room, complete with a private terrace, offers picturesque views over Regent’s Canal; providing a tranquil backdrop for both day and evening events. The rooms flexibility and dividing sections makes it ideal for a range of events where multiple areas are required within a single space. Kings Place also features a number of smaller meeting spaces, excellent for boardroom meetings and other more intimate gatherings.
After exploring the venue's versatille event spaces, we finished our evening with a delicious meal at Rotunda; Kings Place’s very own waterside bar and restaurant. Situated perfectly next to the canal, Rotunda is a hidden gem and was the perfect way to round off our site visit on the hottest day of the year so far! Away from the busy streets of King's Cross, the restaurant is peaceful and serves a classic British menu, with meat sourced locally from its very own farm, keeping in theme with their commitment to sustainable practices.
