Last week the VSL team were delighted to visit the Jumeirah Carlton Tower for a site visit and special dinner. Nestled behind Cadogan Place Park in Belgravia, the hotel combines luxurious accommodation with exceptional event spaces; an ideal choice for both corporate occasions and social gatherings.

We began our site visit with a tour of the property, exploring the stunning guest rooms and event spaces. 216 stylish rooms and suites, blend classic design with modern aesthetics to create a sense of tranquillity in one of London’s most fashionable and vibrant neighbourhoods.

We then moved onto explore the event spaces which are neatly situated on a dedicated floor. Adorned with stunning chandeliers and ornate ceiling lights, the Art Deco-styled ballroom is elegant and functional. The space is incredibly versatile with the ability to host up to 400 guests for a seated dinner or 600 for a standing reception, accommodating any event type from lavish gala dinners to high-profile conferences.

The space can be used as one expansive area or divided into three separate suites—Salisbury, Knightsbridge, and Westbourne; each offering its own unique ambiance. This adaptability means event planners can tailor the space to suite their needs, whether that be a formal dinner or a more casual networking event. Plus, the option for exclusive use of the events floor ensures privacy and a personalised experience for the attendees.

Next, we were shown The Garden Rooms, a conservatory style room that boasts a striking glass roof and gorgeous views over Cadogan Gardens. Flooded with natural light during the day or twinkling warm lights at nighttime, these rooms create a warm and inviting atmosphere ideal for smaller gatherings, or light and airy catering spaces. The seamless connection to the outdoors makes it perfect for summer events or any occasions where you want to bring the outside in.

 Beyond the event spaces, the hotel features a newly refurbished Fitness Club & Spa “The Peak”, which spans across three floors and offers views of London’s surrounding skyline. This wellness spot is home the largest indoor pool in Europe and offers a calming escape from the busy streets below.

Following the site visit, we had the pleasure of dining at La Maison Ani to round off the evening. This French, Italian fusion restaurant perfectly encapsulates the highest standards of Mediterranean cuisine in the heart of Knightsbridge. The restaurant is elegant, and the interiors create a luxurious yet welcoming atmosphere; reflecting both Parisian bistro charm along with Middle Eastern influences. Each plate was beautifully presented, and we were certainly impressed with the portion sizes – particularly the chocolate mouse for 2, more like 4!

On the whole our evening was a wonderful experience from start to finish.
