My first week at Venue Search London has been an exciting whirlwind of site visits, fam trips, and a charity lunch - a fabulous introduction to the company! Being based in London Bridge, with excellent transport links to the entire city, this week has been spent exploring London's best event venues.
My first week at Venue Search London has been an exciting whirlwind of site visits, fam trips, and a charity lunch, a fabulous introduction to the company!
On my first day, the team and I were kindly invited by Sea Containers Events to tour their event spaces and enjoy a delicious lunch at Cucumber Bar and Restaurant. With amazing views of the London skyline, the versatile venue is one I am exciting to propose to future clients.
I had the privilege of assisting with a networking lunch in support of Akwaaba Volunteers at OXO2. It was an inspiring experience to be part of the event, raising funds for charity, while surrounded by 50 of the industry’s leaders and hearing valuable insights from experts in the field.
Thursday was filled with two memorable site visits to 116 Pall Mall and Savage Gardens at DoubleTree Hilton Tower of London. Both venues have their own stand out qualities, as one of London’s oldest private members clubs 116 Pall Mall, it is overflowing with history, grand event spaces and artwork. The venue also offers modern meeting rooms and the opportunity to host events in the Champagne Bar which was once the wine cellars of the Prince of Wales and the United Service Club. In contrast, from the 12th floor Savage Gardens boasts some of the most incredible views of the City of London and Tower Bridge, the venue is perfect for exclusive events all year round.
Following the site visits, the team and I were invited by Rare Restaurants to tour M Threadneedle Street and enjoy a luxurious dinner at Gaucho City. Both venues have some amazing private and semi-private dining/reception spaces.
Fully immersing myself in the world of Venue Search London and getting to know the team has made me super excited about my future with the company. I’m eager to begin helping clients find their perfect venues!
