Nestled along the River Thames, Park Hyatt London River Thames is a beacon of refined elegance for delegates seeking an immersive London journey. This brand-new, luxury hotel opened in October 2024 in the fast evolving area of Vauxhall and Nine Elms, soon to dubbed 'Thames City'.

The hotel promises an atmosphere that blends the comfort of home with art-infused sophistication, enhanced by a striking Charlie Whinney statement sculpture in the lobby. Park Hyatt London River Thames offers exquisite event spaces designed to create the perfect luxury experiences - from meetings and conferences to awards and private dinners - with the largest space at 522 sq m. From our visit, every team member was ready and willing to assist - giving us one of the friendliest welcomes!

With our office based at London Bridge, the team were pleasantly surprised at the ease of access - just 20 minutes from London Bridge, 10 minutes from Waterloo and eight from Victoria! Vauxhall, Pimlico, Nine Elms and even Oval Stations are a short walk from the property so it's fair to say they are surrounded by great connections! 

The hotel offers 7 meeting spaces with breakout foyers and one ballroom and a spacious pre-function area that can host up to 850 guests open plan. The dedicated team offer carefully curated and personalised experiences, with flexible catering options for your special event. Encore are the on-site AV partner, with All Safe and Sound also on hand - giving a rare choice of suppliers in the hotel world! One big takeaway from the experience was that the event spaces are so versatile in terms of their configuration that there would be few set-ups the team could not accommodate - and as a new London venue, they're always willing to test it out. 

The large pillar-less Ballroom offers spectacular lighting and integrated AV, with secondary daylight visible through the frosted doors, leading out to the pre-function space with floor-to-ceiling windows. Key capacities in the space allow for 430 on banquet rounds, 500 theatre style and 272 in cabaret. 

The hotel also bring a mix of dining outlets, including The Nine Elms Kitchen + Terrace for all-day fare, a speciality Cantonese restaurant, a luxurious lobby bar and a high-end wine library and tea lounge to unwind after a long day of networking. Refreshingly, the hotel are willing to hire out each of these outlets, either as an exclusive hire or seamlessly working it into your event schedule as an additional venue. Health and wellness also take pride of place throughout their mantra. Unlike any other spa in the city, their above-ground haven is bathed in natural daylight, creating a serene and invigorating atmosphere.

Furthermore, the Presidential Suite is an ideal event space for more intimate occasions, including client entertaining, small drinks receptions, PR events and small meetings. 

Accommodation is abundant, with 203 exquisitely designed bedrooms on offer, including 31 lavish suites, 2 ambassador suites and 1 presidential suite. The entry level rooms were stunning, resplendent with floor to ceiling windows, tall ceilings and king sized beds. All bedrooms come with a separate bath and shower in the marble bathroom, with Toto toilets. 

This new London opening is going to become a big contender on the luxury London hotel scene and we can't wait to get booking!
