A Re-launch to Remember

After undergoing a multi million pound renovation, we were invited down to the re-launch of this iconic Art Deco hotel on Park Lane for a 1920’s inspired party, and boy did they pull out all the stops!
Now known as The Sheraton Grand London Park Lane, this stunning hotel had the party of all parties to introduce the newly refurbished hotel in all its glory, which also coincided with the hotel’s 90th birthday, and of course we just couldn’t say no to this invitation.
The hotel’s public spaces and bedrooms have been completely transformed, retaining the hotels original 1920's-esque features whilst adding those modern touches. If you're looking for the wow factor this 5 star hotel is the perfect venue, hosting a variety of events from large gala dinner's, conferences, small private dinners and receptions. And if you're looking to throw a prohibition style party to top all parties, then this art-deco inspired hotel will definitely hit the mark.
Starting the night on the mezzanine of the very grand Ballroom, we were welcomed by 1920’s flapper girls and champagne whilst enjoying some of the best burlesque entertainment underneath the stunning Ballroom chandeliers. We were then encouraged to go and explore, stumbling across new and interesting spaces with a whole plethora of entertainment throughout the night.
The stunning Palm Court was the main focus, usually a space where breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner is served, tranformed into a Great Gatsby style party which transported us straight back to the fun and glamour of that exciting era. While the canapés and champagne were flowing, we were greeted by roaming actors to get us into the 1920’s spirit, as well as a fantastic magician who wowed us instantly. Entertainment was provided by a whole host of acts including the amazing Bond Street band and Amy Diamond, who really got the party started and had us all dancing the night away – we just didn’t want to leave!
