It’s Friday! Don’t let the forecast put a dampener on your after-work drinks plans. We’ve put together a list of our top venues that have either have great views or bring the outside in, so even though the skies are looking a little ominous, you can still feel as though summer is here.

FOR NORTH LONDONERS

1. The Lighterman

This bar and dining room (located in Granary Square) has floor to ceiling windows overlooking Regents Canal. The top floor has an outdoor wrap-around terrace which is half covered so even in the rain it’s the perfect place to take in the views and unwind.

2. Bourne and Hollingsworth 

Located in Clerkenwell this lovely bar/brasserie have captured the essence of bringing the outside in. Be sure to get a seat in their Garden Room, which is filled with comfortable armchairs and soft furnishings and filled with greenery such as hanging baskets, fully grown trees, wall creepers and more, making it the perfect place to unwind and relax after a long week at work. They also serve some great cocktails.

1. Rumpus Room Mondrian Hotel 

For those wanting a riverside view, the Rumpus Room is a stylish rooftop bar located on the South Bank with views over the River Thames, expect lush greenery, comfy sofas and a delicious cocktail menu.

2. Restaurant Ours 

Restaurant Ours brings the outside in to create a space filled with lush greenery. Hidden in the heart of Knightsbridge only a short walk from the V & A, it’s a great place to de-stress over a glass of wine or two and forget the busy city outside.

3. The Ivy Chelsea Garden

1. Giant Robot

This is Street Feasts new venue near Canary Wharf. To get there, you must wind your way through London’s largest rooftop garden. Upon entry you'll find three bars and some of London’s most mouth-watering street food suppliers, including Yum Bun, Bob’s Lobsters and more.

2. Golden Bee
