Coming as the eighth property in series, The Hoxton, Southwark sees the brand back on familiar ground with its third hotel in London, the city where it all began. The Hoxton first opened its doors in Shoreditch in 2006, followed by Holborn in 2012, and has since been rolled out globally, with creatively designed open-house hotels in neighbourhoods around the world including Paris, Amsterdam, New York, Portland, and Chicago. The Hoxton, Downtown LA will follow later this year.

The 192 rooms come in five categories: Shoebox, Snug, Cosy, Roomy and Biggy. Rooms are full of natural light with large Crittall-style windows showing off views of the city. The usual ‘Hox Perks’ come as standard, including a mini fridge for you to stock from their reception shop with local products at supermarket prices, and a free daily breakfast bag delivered to your door.

The Apartment is the unique meeting and events space which features in every Hoxton hotel is located on the mezzanine level in Southwark. Six creative rooms centered around a communal Pantry Kitchen and a wraparound balcony offer a taste of outdoor space. Multi-functional, The Apartment is great for team away days, private dinners, one-on-ones, and full exclusive hire of the space serves as a unique venue for special parties and big bashes. It’s also home to The Hoxton’s rolling events program.

The Hoxton aim to be more than just a hotel. They want to be more than that, providing a vibrant and welcoming place where guests can hangout alongside the locals and immerse themselves in the neighbourhood. The hotels brings the outside in from the locally sourced art on the walls to bookshelves curated by Hox friends, adding a unique touch to your Hoxton experience.

 VSL love the new workspace at The Hoxton Southwark called ‘Working from_’. It’s a new dedicated workspace by The Hoxton – inspired by all the folk working from their lobbies since 2006. It has all the practical elements you’d expect from a coworking space, but with some lovely Hoxton extras. You can expect a desk with a view, service with a smile and rip off-free rates.
