Built in 1910 originally as the Town Hall for the council, The Town Hall Hotel is a short walk between both Cambridge Heath and Bethnal Green stations.  Venue Search London spent the morning exploring the event spaces this East London venue has to offer.

The building has stunning Edwardian architecture and the interior is full of Art-Deco features including marble staircases, stained glass windows and hard wooden flooring. The design hotel has won awards including  RICS London award for Building Conservation.

This unique London venue is just 12 minutes on the central line from Bank Station and 23 minutes from Oxford Circus, a very accessible London venue for corporate clients.  The London venue has three main event spaces, Council Chamber, Bethnal Hall  and De Monfort Suite.

The Council Chamber can host up to 100 guests in theatre style for a conference event or 100 standing for a reception. The space can even be transformed for dinner for up to 20 guests. The unique event space is Grade II listed interior with Art Deco design and large windows to flood this unique event space with light. 

Bethnal Hall is the largest event space within the East London hotel. The room can host up to 200 guests for a standing reception, 150 theatre  for a conference style event and 100 guests for a dinner and dance style corporate party. 

The polished wood, high ceilings and large windows make this a great space for corporate meetings and lunches. It is made up of four interconnecting rooms which can be split using the original mechanism to allow the wall to move up and down. This is perfect for syndicate rooms as well as exhibition and catering areas for corporate events.

Last but certainly not least is the inspiring De Montfort Suite. Originally the Edwardian council chamber, the space has triple height ceilings and breathtaking stained glass windows. As to not lose any space, the bedroom and bathroom has been built on a modern and contemporary mezzanine level which perfectly compliments the original features.

The unique event space is a fantastic setting for creatives, small meetings and even intimate dinners and receptions. The space can host up 100 guests for a standing reception, 40 guests for a dinner and dance and up to 60 for a private dinner.

The Town Hall Hotel, is full of surprises with it’s unique art and history, the 96 bedroom luxury hotel is also the home to Michelin Star restaurant De Terra, swimming pool and gym giving guests everything they need for a day or couple of days out of the office.
