Introducing: The Westminster London
Monday 25 October 2021
Last month saw The Westminster London join Hilton’s growing portfolio of Curio Collection properties following a multi-million pound renovation. The hotel is home to STK Steakhouse including a private dining room and bowling alley, Bao Yum, 464 uniquely designed bedrooms and flexible event spaces...
Located in the heart of historic London and surrounded by some of the capital’s most famed cultural and historical landmarks, including The Houses of Parliament, ‘Big Ben’, Westminster Abbey, Tate Britain and MI5, The Westminster London takes inspiration from its unique location, surrounded by the world’s most powerful and secret institutions. Themes of intrigue and anonymity, matched with a playful balance between the traditional and the modern are weaved throughout all elements of the hotel experience. Another exciting new London venue to add to the list!
Rooms
Split into eight categories, The Westminster London’s 464 spacious and bright bedrooms and suites have been expertly designed to ensure all travellers are well-equipped for their stay in the capital. All rooms feature separate bedroom and dressing areas, striking wall prints, floor to ceiling windows, textured furnishings and mood lighting with amenities including a 49-inch TV, a high-pressure rainfall shower, bespoke toiletries and a Nespresso machine. A selection of rooms have riverside views and a 24hr gym is also available on the 13th floor.
Dining
One of London’s most vibrant restaurants, STK Steakhouse, is located on the hotel’s first floor and is the second restaurant to open within the group in the capital. A modern steakhouse, STK Steakhouse provides a luxury dining experience like no other in a chic lounge – complete with fine dining menus, resident DJs, a high-energy atmosphere and exceptional hospitality. Adjacent to the restaurant is the hotel’s very own quirky bowling alley with a private bar, perfect for hosting intimate events for up to 40 guests.
On the hotel’s ground floor is new dining concept, Bao Yum, offering a selection of ‘bao-centric’ options to grab-and-go or dine-in for breakfast, lunch and dinner, alongside a variety of salads, soups, sandwiches and snacks.
Event spaces
Three ground-floor meeting rooms have been impeccably designed to play to host to a variety of corporate events, including meetings/conferences, receptions and dinners. Hosting up to 115 guests, each space features super-fast connectivity, built-in high tech, Ultra HD interactive displays and all with natural daylight.
Design
The hotel’s design echos the property’s lively but intimate setting. Each space has been created to evoke a sense of mystery and curiosity, leaving a feeling that there is more than meets the eye, with signature artwork featuring portraits with paint strikes omitting key details, matched with dark and sultry colour tones.
With a prime location in the capital, The Westminster London offers those travelling for business the opportunity to explore the cultural and historic landmarks on its doorstep, matched with warm hospitality and contemporary experiences on return to the hotel.
