Zafferano means “saffron” in Italian - as we were conceived in the sun-drenched Tuscan hillside and born in 1990’s London. We started small – on a north London kitchen table – but 20 years on we are an award-winning, special events caterer, with heritage, performance and event excellence at our very core. Our events are theatrical productions. They are one night performances. We boast a loyal client base of Blue Chip Corporates, Luxury Brands, High Profile Charities, Event Agencies, Patrons of the Arts and many HNWI. We are proud of our reputation for high quality food, creative flare, flexibility of offer, operational precision and a highly personal approach to business. We have a proven track record of meticulous operations and procedures and are well versed at the challenges of working within the precious environs of Grade I listed buildings. We know that our iconic venues are unique and treat them as such. We devise event concepts, curated menus, service ideas and event staff styling to complement our venue’s narrative and USPs. Our menus are creative, theatrical and occasionally playful. We want our guests to enjoy and remember the food they eat and if it also makes them smile, we’re happy. The passion comes from our people. We work to a brief and are the antithesis of a package caterer.
