VSL Visits Alexander House Hotel & Utopia Spa

This week VSL escaped to the stunning Alexander House Luxury Hotel & Utopia Spa. It was the perfect destination for our annual team off-site & training touch up with the marvellous Emilie from Yellow Door.
Just a short drive from London, Alexander House sits within 120 acres of breathtaking West Sussex countryside. Steeped in rich heritage, this 17th-century Jacobean estate was once home to and inspired literary greats like Percy Bysshe Shelley and Mary Shelley. Today, it offers 57 exclusively designed rooms and suites—including the stunning Cedar Lodge Suites—where our VSL team had the pleasure of staying the night.
Alexander House boasts seven versatile meeting rooms, perfect for everything from intimate corporate dinners (for 8) to large conferences (for 120 delegates). The Shelley Suite is bathed in natural light, complete with a private terrace and all the AV technology you need—ideal for conferences and summer parties. Our team loved working in the elegant Boardroom, where the serene countryside views and professional décor made for a very productive VSL team meeting, especially as all the tech worked first time!
Following our meetings, we stepped right into the award-winning Utopia Spa. There are 25 treatment rooms, couples' suites, a state-of-the-art gym, relaxation lounge and Temple Spa therapies, Utopia Spa is the ultimate space to unwind. From the outdoor hot tub and barrel sauna to the tranquil pool, Utopia Spa is the perfect reward after a day of meetings.
Following a celebratory glass of bubbles in the Main House’s opulent Champagne Bar, we were treated to a wonderful private dining experience in The Asquith. The culinary offerings at Alexander House are second to none—whether it’s the relaxed brasserie-style Reflections or the 3-AA Rosette fine dining at AG’s. With such exceptional catering, this venue is also a dream for summer parties, Christmas parties, and gala dinners.
The next day, we returned to the Boardroom for an engaging training session with Emilie from Yellow Door. Emilie has been providing VSL with specialist sales and management training to maintain our high performance for many years. Emilie’s expertise and enthusiasm is why we always go back to Yellow Door.
