The Coach was established in 1790, and has been at the heart of the lively clerkenwell community for generations. There is never a dull moment in our bustling traditional pub, where you can enjoy a drink from our extensive list of wines, beers and cocktails, plus tuck into a selection of our irresistible bar snacks or a la carte menu.

Garden Room & Terrace Located just beyond the pub bar, this beautifully light and spacious room is perfect for parties, and in good weather it also includes the full use of the terrace. Capacity: Up to 40 seated.

The First Floor Dining Room Our beautiful dining room is a highly flexible space, perfect for parties, standing receptions or large dinner parties. Non-private table bookings are also available for up to 15 guests. Capacity: up to 50 seated & up to 70 standing

Blue Room This cosy private dining room is perfect for a more intimate dining experience, or a comfortable setting for a meeting. Capacity: Up to 10 seated.

Weddings The Coach in Clerkenwell is an ideal choice for weddings. You have the option to rent either the enchanting garden room and garden, the elegant first-floor dining room, or even reserve the entire venue exclusively for your special day. What makes it even more exceptional? You and your guests can enjoy the convenience of staying overnight in one of the five charming accommodation rooms located upstairs.

Christmas Gatherings Whether it’s a work Christmas bash with cocktails and canapés, or a big celebratory feast, The Coach is ready to host your party of any size. Our Dining Room can host up to 40 guests, while we also have an intimate Private Dining room for smaller get-togethers.
