CORNWALLIS
The Cornwallis room is named after Samuel Whitbread's wife and is the largest of all the private rooms. It is downstairs, where all the beer barrels were once kept. It has a high ceiling and is an ideal space for larger meetings, private dining and also for dancing with a band and/or DJ. We can build a stage in this room for awards ceremonies and it can also be used as a 'games room' for large parties ie. With blackjack/roulette casino tables, pool/snooker tables, table tennis tables and more! 80 seated/20 standing.

AFTERNOON TEA Afternoon tea is served in the hotel restaurant, Chiswell Street Dining Rooms, and comes with an assorted selection of finger sandwiches, homemade scones with Preston Hall (Suffolk) jam and Devonshire clotted cream as well as a selection of afternoon sweets and cakes. For those special occasions, why not spoil yourself by having the Champagne afternoon tea, served with a glass of Joseph Perrier Champagne.
