This large and elegant brick building was built in 1663 for the Board of Ordnance, a British government body created in the 15th century to design, test and produce armaments and munitions. The New Armouries was created as a store for military eqipment and supplies after the recall of Civil War arms.

This versatile and accessible space is suited for banqueting events, corporate conferences or any large function. It features original wooden ceiling joists and pillars and in built conferencing equipment. It also has disabled access and can accommodate a variety of arrangements and layouts for differing guest numbers.
