Bold, elegant, and historic, the Freemen's Room boasts an array of historical artefacts and paintings to entertain your guests. Incorporated into the Hall in 1983, the Freemen's Room is ideal for presentations and meetings of many styles. The Freemen's room also has disabled access, wireless connection and has facilities for audio visual equipment and blackout facilities.

The room is our largest function space in Watermen's Hall and is therefore suitable for almost any event. The Freemen's room holds a wedding license making it perfect for your special day. It is also fitting for events from conferences and presentation to lunches and fine dining. The Freemen's Room has extensive natural light which creates an intimate atmosphere in a unique and stunning setting. This room can also be hired along with the Court room providing a separate space for pre-lunch or pre-dinner drinks.
